Our Green Vision
To become a living example of harmony between nature and innovation, inspiring communities to protect biodiversity and build a sustainable Cozumel for generations ahead.
We believe caring for nature starts with experiencing it firsthand. KUZÁ Natural Expedition was created to bring guests closer to Cozumel’s extraordinary natural environment and the ecosystems that make the island so unique.
Led by local experts, guests explore nature trails and mangroves, learn to identify native birds, discover the fascinating world of melipona bees, and gain a deeper understanding of the island’s flora and fauna.
The journey also highlights one of KUZÁ’s most important conservation efforts: 55.3 acres of mangrove have been officially designated by Mexico’s National Commission of Protected Natural Areas (CONANP) as a Voluntary Conservation Area (ADVC). This certification ensures the area will remain protected for the next 25 years!
And because KUZÁ Natural Expedition is included with every KUZÁ pass, all guests have the opportunity to experience Cozumel’s natural beauty in a more meaningful way.Learn more about KUZÁ Natural Expedition.
